The pilgrims to the Sacred House of God have arrived at the plain of Arafat after completing the gathering at Mina, where some of the pilgrims spent the night in Mina before heading at dawn to the plain of Arafat to perform the greatest pillar of the Hajj (the ninth of Dhul-Hijjah).<\/p>\n
Thus, the guests of the Most Merciful have flocked to the pure plain of Arafat, filled with feelings of humility and tranquility, enveloped by divine care, as they chant prayers and respond to the call, asking the Lord\u2014Exalted and Majestic\u2014to bestow upon them forgiveness, mercy, and salvation from the Fire.<\/p>\n
Throughout their journey to the plain of Arafat, the convoys of pilgrims were accompanied by precise security monitoring from various sectors; security personnel spread along vehicle routes and pedestrian paths to organize the crowds according to the approved escalation and crowd management plans, while ensuring the guidance and safety of the pilgrims.<\/p>\n
The Saudi News Agency reported that in light of the complete readiness of all government sectors concerned with serving the guests of the Most Merciful, all medical, emergency, and supply services have been provided throughout the entire area, meeting the needs of the pilgrims who have come from various parts of the world to perform the fifth pillar of Islam, praising God Almighty for what He has guided them to.<\/p>\n
Today, the pilgrims perform the noon and afternoon prayers combined and shortened with one call to prayer and two iqamahs at the Namira Mosque; following the Sunnah of the Messenger\u2014peace be upon him\u2014who said: “Take your rituals from me.”<\/p>\n
With the sunset of this day, the multitude of pilgrims begins their departure to Muzdalifah, where they will perform the sunset and evening prayers, spending the night until the dawn of the tenth of Dhul-Hijjah; emulating the Sunnah of the Prophet\u2014peace be upon him\u2014who spent the night there and prayed the dawn prayer.<\/p>\n
