The Bureau of Foreign Exchange has integrated its mobile application “OC CONNECT” with the digital identity service “E-ID,” developed by the Directorate General of National Security, as part of its efforts to modernize and digitize its services.
According to a statement from the bureau, this innovative system aims to provide a fully secure and digital service that enables users to register and access various services related to personal foreign currency allocations using their identification documents.
The same source clarified that the application, available for free on “Play Store Android” and “App Store iOS,” allows users to securely view their operations and the balance of their personal foreign currency allocations. It also offers access to a dedicated service for supplementary personal travel allocations and instant notifications for each currency exchange transaction.
The launch of the new version of “OC CONNECT” is part of the Bureau of Foreign Exchange’s digital strategy, primarily designed to facilitate citizens’ access to its various services, enhancing administrative efficiency and ensuring a secure relationship with users.
The bureau has provided a tutorial video and a simplified user guide on its institutional website (www.oc.gov.ma) to assist users in navigating the new version of the application.
