### Open Morocco Optimist Championship: October 20-25, 2025
The event will kick off with the Open Morocco Optimist Championship. This competition will gather the best young prospects in sailing internationally, with confirmed delegations from Argentina, Italy, Finland, Portugal, Spain, England, Estonia, Singapore, and Greece, alongside Moroccan clubs.
The championship will feature over 120 young athletes, highlighting the club’s dedication to excellence and investment in training future generations of sailors. This event is a key milestone in the club’s long history, emphasizing the development of young athletes’ skills and fostering international exchange in marine sports.
### Third Edition of the Copa del Estrecho: October 23-26, 2025
Concurrent with the first championship, the Royal Yacht Club will host the third edition of the International Copa del Estrecho Sport Fishing Championship for 2025, featuring a record participation of 63 boats and over 250 international participants from Morocco, Spain, Gibraltar, Portugal, Italy, and Turkey.
This championship will provide an opportunity to showcase fishing skills while emphasizing adherence to international regulations and environmental sustainability.
