The Ministry of Royal Palaces, Honors, and Decorations announced that King Mohammed VI will deliver a speech on Friday afternoon to mark the opening of the first session of the fifth year of the eleventh legislative term.
Here is the announcement text:
“The Ministry of Royal Palaces, Honors, and Decorations announces that His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist and protect him, will preside over the opening of the first session of the fifth year of the eleventh legislative term at the Parliament headquarters. This event will take place tomorrow, Friday, 17 Rabee’ al-Thani 1447 AH, corresponding to October 10, 2025.
On this occasion, His Majesty the King will deliver a royal address before the members of both chambers of Parliament: the House of Representatives and the House of Councillors. The speech will be broadcast live on radio and television starting at 4:30 PM tomorrow.”
