354 People Injured in Violence During October 1st Protests

The Ministry of Interior reported that the violent events on Wednesday, October 1, resulted in injuries to 354 individuals, including 326 members of the public security forces responsible for maintaining order.

Damage was inflicted on 271 vehicles belonging to the public forces and 175 privately owned cars. Additionally, acts of violence, vandalism, and theft affected approximately 80 administrative, health, security, and municipal facilities, as well as banks and commercial establishments across 23 provinces and regions.

According to the same source, these incidents of violence and unrest involved a significant number of children and minors, with their participation reaching 100 percent in several instances among the groups involved.
