On Sunday, September 21, Morocco is expected to experience rainfall and thunderstorms (ranging from 20 to 30 mm) accompanied by wind gusts in several regions.
The Directorate General of Meteorology stated in an orange alert bulletin that these thunderstorms will affect the provinces of Jerada, Figuig, Boulemane, Midelt, Ouarzazate, and Azilal, from 2 PM to 10 PM.
### Weather Forecast for Monday
For Monday, September 22, the Directorate General of Meteorology predicts relatively warm weather in the southernmost parts of the country.
Low clouds coupled with local fog are expected near the central and northwestern coasts and in the southern provinces.
Unstable clouds carrying thunderstorms will also be concentrated over the high Atlas Mountains, southeastern regions, and the eastern area. Stronger wind gusts are anticipated along the central and southern coasts.
Minimum temperatures are forecasted to range from 21 to 25 degrees Celsius in the southern provinces and southeastern areas, from 10 to 14 degrees in the Atlas Mountains, and from 14 to 19 degrees elsewhere in the kingdom. Daytime temperatures are expected to slightly decrease in the southern parts.
The sea will be moderately rough to rough along the central coast, calm to slightly rough in the strait of Gibraltar, and slightly rough to rough along the Atlantic coast. It may occasionally become rough to very rough between Cap Sim and Cap Negro.
