The Regional Football League of Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima announced the holding of the annual general assembly on September 19 in the city of Ksar. This announcement came only hours after clubs protested the plan to move the assembly outside Tangier.
On Thursday, September 5, the league stated that “based on the decision of the league’s board of directors on August 25, 2025, the location for the annual assembly has been set for the conference hall at the Rafi Hotel in Ksar, starting at 6 PM.”
Sources from football clubs indicated their opposition to relocating the general assembly outside Tangier, directly referencing an intention to organize the event in Ksar with assistance from the local community president.
Some clubs have urged the relevant authorities to reject this decision and called for the assembly to be held in Tangier, emphasizing the preservation of public funds and ensuring proper organization.
