The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has opened the registration for media accreditation to cover the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco 2025, starting today, Monday, September 1, 2025. The application period will remain open until Friday, October 10, 2025.
The tournament is scheduled to take place in Morocco from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026, featuring the best African teams in a competitive quest for the continental title.
### How to Apply for Media Accreditation
CAF has invited media representatives wishing to cover the event to submit their applications exclusively through the official CAF media channel. The Confederation has outlined several requirements that applicants must fulfill:
– Possession of an active account on the CAF media channel.
– The applicant must be a professional journalist, photographer, or media practitioner representing a recognized media organization.
– Submission of a valid press card or an official assignment letter from the media organization represented.
– Submission of a copy of a valid passport (with at least six months’ validity) for international journalists, while resident journalists in Morocco may use a valid passport or national identity card.
– Upload a recent high-quality passport-style photograph (head and shoulders with a plain background).
– Ensure that all submitted information is accurate and complete, as incomplete or inaccurate applications will not be considered.
CAF clarified that all applications will undergo a review process, and accreditation will not be granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Successful applicants will be notified in due course and provided with detailed guidelines for covering the tournament.
