King Mohammed VI sent a congratulatory message to the members of the national local football team following their victory in the African Nations Championship (CHAN 2024).
In the message, the King stated, “We proudly followed your well-deserved victory in the eighth edition of the African Nations Championship, jointly hosted by Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.”
He added, “It is with great joy and pride that we extend our warmest congratulations on your third African title, which affirms the distinguished victories and achievements recently accomplished by Moroccan football. We commend the efforts of all members of our national team, including players, coaches, technical and medical staff, and the administration of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation.”
The King further noted, “We greatly appreciate their effective contributions, filled with genuine national spirit, that led to this new African title, which will undoubtedly serve as a strong motivator for our various teams and clubs to continue striving for victory and to secure more titles.”
The message also included, “As we congratulate you once again on this well-deserved victory, we pray for your continued success in your promising sports journey, enveloped in our utmost affection and high regard.”
