According to sources from the Fes security authority, the individual was arrested on August 16 on suspicion of involvement in a criminal case. He reported suffering from a chronic illness, which necessitated his transfer to the hospital for essential treatment, where he passed away on Tuesday morning.
A judicial inquiry has been opened under the supervision of the relevant public prosecutor’s office to determine the circumstances surrounding this case. The deceased’s body has been retained at the university hospital in Fes for a medical exam to establish the cause of death.
