Moroccan Player Anissa Lhamari Cancels Contract with Levante

Moroccan player Anissa Lahmari announced her departure from Levante, the Spanish club, on Thursday morning, August 27, via a message on her official Instagram account.

Lahmari’s exit comes just days before the start of the Spanish Women’s Football League (Liga F). She joined Levante in the summer of 2024 and participated in 23 matches last season, scoring one goal and providing three assists. Recently, she returned to team training after playing with the Moroccan national team in the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

According to reliable sources, Lahmari reached an amicable agreement with Levante management to terminate her contract, which was set to run until June 2026. The player is preparing to return to Morocco to continue her football career, where she will sign with FAR Rabat.

In her farewell message on Instagram, Anissa Lahmari expressed gratitude, saying: “Thank you, Levante. Thank you to the club, the president, the management, the coaching staff, and everyone who works for us every day. Thank you to my teammates and the fans. Thank you, Spain.”
