The Moroccan star Achraf Hakimi scored the equalizing goal for the Moroccan national team in the 39th minute of their match against Haiti, as part of Group C of the 2026 World Cup, which was held at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
The Haitian national team had taken an early lead with a goal in the 10th minute from Leny Joseph, and then Wilson Isidor added a second goal in the 43rd minute. However, Hakimi took advantage of a rebound from goalkeeper Johnny Placide to score an easy goal from close range, announcing the equalizer for the “Atlas Lions” at 1-1 before the end of the first half.
