Franklin Templeton International Services, based in Luxembourg, announced a financial donation for students in the Ait Ourir area of the Al Haouz province, amounting to 4,504 euros.
This donation came after a solidarity initiative organized by the company’s employees during the past month of December. The “SOS Children’s Villages International” association stated that the donation was made to support an educational and social project in the area, and although its value is limited, it is merely an additional contribution within broader efforts of support and assistance.
According to the data revealed by the association, these funds will be directed toward a project aimed at enhancing the right to education and providing a safe environment for children. This will be achieved through the construction and equipping of a mixed educational institution that accommodates about 500 students, in addition to the establishment of a boarding facility dedicated to 50 girls.
The new facilities are expected to welcome the first batches of students with the upcoming school year, as part of efforts to support the education sector in areas that have previously been affected by the Al Haouz earthquake.
