Predictions of Olive Oil Prices Falling Below 50 Dirhams

Prices of olive oil are expected to fall below 50 dirhams, following improvements in the agricultural season and continued stability in climatic and economic conditions.

Moroccan events have highlighted a significant decline in olive oil prices recently, prompting traders and cooperatives to liquidate last year’s stock before the start of the new harvest season, in order to avoid substantial losses.

Several industry professionals anticipate a further drop in olive oil prices in the coming year compared to the previous year. Preliminary estimates suggest that the price for a liter of olive oil could decrease this year, stabilizing around 50 dirhams or lower, provided that climatic and economic conditions remain stable without unexpected emergencies.
