Dr. Ahmed Al-Farsi stated that the Moroccan Ministry of Health responded positively to the “deadline” he set for the minister, following a threat to expose a situation, after the temporary suspension of medical staff at Agadir Hospital amid an investigation into the deaths of pregnant women.
The doctor mentioned that the ministry sent a human resources official, who is expected to meet with representatives of the resident doctors at the regional health directorate in Agadir to discuss the matter.
Al-Farsi did not disclose whether he would remain silent regarding the situation he claimed he would expose, following the ministry’s response to his threat, which he described as a form of scapegoating for the suspended doctors and staff.
