On Monday, October 6, Moroccan Ambassador to Chad, Abdel Latif Rouja, presided over a ceremony in N’Djamena honoring Chadian students who received Moroccan scholarships to study in the Kingdom for the 2025-2026 academic year.
In his speech, the Moroccan ambassador emphasized the importance of enhancing academic cooperation between Morocco and Chad by increasing the number of scholarships from 150 to 250 annually. He noted that these scholarships will encompass various fields, including university and technical education, as well as vocational training.
The scholarships will cover partial or full tuition fees, in addition to monthly financial allowances estimated between 1,900 and 3,600 dirhams, depending on the level of study.
Accommodation and living expenses are expected to range between 15,000 and 35,000 dirhams, along with additional costs for transportation, books, and health insurance.
