On Tuesday, October 7, the Generation Z movement announced a temporary halt to protests in all Moroccan cities until next Thursday.
The movement stated, “After the majority of participants in the demonstrations agreed and carefully reviewed the current situation, we aim to reorganize and plan to ensure greater effectiveness on Thursday, ahead of the scheduled parliamentary meeting on Friday with the royal speech.”
The movement emphasized that this pause is not a retreat from its demands, but rather a strategic step to enhance the impact of its public voice.
Generation Z reiterated its call for readiness and widespread participation in organizing demonstrations on Thursday, October 9, across the nation, to demand the dismissal and accountability of the government, the strengthening of the health and education sectors, and the release of detainees.
