General Mohamed Brih, Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces and Commander of the Southern Zone, presided over a ceremonial event on Thursday at the Southern Zone Command in Agadir. The gathering honored a group of senior officers, officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers who are retiring in the current year, 2025.

The ceremony was attended by several high-ranking military officials and representatives of local authorities. In his address, General Brih praised the sacrifices and significant efforts made by the retirees throughout their professional careers in service to the nation, highlighting their vital role in enhancing security and stability in the Southern Region. He also commended their discipline and commitment, which contributed to the prestige of the Royal Armed Forces.

During the event, commendation certificates and symbolic gifts were presented to the retirees in recognition of their valuable contributions. Many of the honorees expressed pride and gratitude for this acknowledgment, reaffirming their readiness to continue supporting national causes as citizens.

The ceremony concluded with words of thanks and appreciation from the Southern Zone Commander, who wished the retirees a fulfilling civilian life filled with health and success, emphasizing that the doors of the Royal Armed Forces will remain open to them as an integral part of its large family.
