The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued a new alert regarding the expectation of strong localized thunderstorms accompanied by hail and gusty winds affecting several Moroccan regions today, Tuesday.
According to the alert, rated as “orange,” strong localized thunderstorms are expected to accumulate between 25 and 35 mm of rain, along with hail and gusty winds. This weather is anticipated in the provinces of Fes, Ifrane, Al Hajeb, Meknes, Moulay Yakoub, Sefrou, Taza, Taounate, and Khemisset, from 10 AM to 2 PM.
The same phenomenon will also affect Kserif, Driouch, Fqik, Jerada, Nador, Oujda Angad, Taourirt, Berkane, and Boulemane today, from 11 AM to 7 PM.
Additionally, similar weather conditions are expected in Awsard and Oued Eddahab from 3 PM to 11 PM today.
