Monday Weather: Continued Heat with Low Clouds and Very Light Rain

The Directorate of Meteorology forecasts that on Monday, September 1st, the weather will remain relatively hot in the southeastern regions of the country and within the desert provinces.

Thick low clouds are expected to form, accompanied by very light rain or fog patches near the Atlantic coast, Saïs, and the northwestern regions of the southern provinces during the morning and night.

Partly to mostly cloudy skies are also anticipated over the eastern slopes of the Middle Atlas mountains. Additionally, moderate to strong gusts of wind are expected in the central plains, southeastern areas, and southern regions, with dust swirling.

Minimum temperatures are expected to range from 21 to 25 degrees Celsius in the southeastern parts of the country, from 08 to 14 degrees in the Atlas and Rif mountains, and from 15 to 21 degrees in the remaining areas.

Daytime temperatures are likely to decrease.

The sea will be slightly to moderately rough in the Mediterranean and the Strait of Gibraltar, and rough to very rough between Mehdia and Tarfaya. It will become strong to very strong in the evening between Tarfaya and Sidi Ifni, and rough along the remaining coastlines.
