Coach Walid Rekraki reiterated that there are no issues with player Hakim Ziyech. In response to questions from the press regarding Ziyech’s long-term exclusion from the national team, especially after comments accusing the Moroccan government of contributing to the devastation in Gaza, Rekraki emphasized that Ziyech must first resolve his personal and professional problems by joining a team, as the summer transfer window is closing soon and the player has yet to sign with any club.
Rekraki also pointed out Ziyech’s decline in performance, urging him to focus on improving his physical condition to return to the national squad. According to the national team coach, Ziyech’s name remains on the priority list despite his situation, but the final roster requires selecting the most prepared players.
