The meteorological service has reported that temperatures in Morocco will rise on Monday, August 18, particularly in the Mediterranean coast, the eastern region, and northern desert provinces. Conversely, temperatures will decrease in the rest of the country.
The General Directorate of Meteorology indicated that the overall weather will be characterized by hot to very hot conditions locally, with a southerly wind in the northern and central inland plains, the Mediterranean coast, northern eastern region, southeastern area, as well as within the Souss region and desert provinces.
The sea will be calm along the Mediterranean coast, slightly rough in the Strait of Gibraltar, and calm to slightly rough between Cape Spartel and Larache. It will become slightly rough during the afternoon and may become rough in the south.
