Extremely Hot Weather Expected on Sunday

The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts that, for tomorrow, Sunday, the weather will remain hot to very hot in several regions. This includes the Tadla plains, Rahamna, Chyazma, Abda, the interior of Chaouia, Saïs, Oulmes, the southeastern regions, and the desert areas of the kingdom.

There is an expectation of relatively dense low clouds accompanied by fog or very light localized rain over the northern and central coastal areas.

The sky will be partially cloudy over the High Atlas and Middle Atlas mountains, with some light rain and sporadic thunder. There will also be cloud formations coming from the south, bringing thunderstorms and rain to the southern desert regions.

Strong gusts of wind may occasionally occur in the eastern region and the southern provinces, causing dust to be stirred up.

Minimum temperatures are expected to range from 28 to 34 degrees Celsius in Souss, inside Chyazma, the southeastern regions, and the south, while temperatures will be between 22 and 28 degrees in the plains west of the Atlas, Saïs, southern Rif, and Moulouya. In the rest of the kingdom, temperatures will range from 17 to 22 degrees.

Daytime temperatures are expected to rise in the northern and central parts of the country, while they will drop in the desert regions.

The sea will be calm to slightly choppy in the Mediterranean, slightly choppy to rough in the Strait of Gibraltar, and locally choppy in the south.
