Moroccan Team Triumphs in the ‘Optimism’ Category

The Moroccan national team won the title at the African Championship for Optimist sailing, held in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, from August 1 to 10, 2025.

The Moroccan delegation demonstrated remarkable superiority during the first day of the championship, securing first place in the team category, surpassing Angola, which finished second, and South Africa, which came in third.

This victory reflects the significant efforts and intensive preparations made by the Moroccan team, solidifying Morocco’s position as a prominent sports power in Africa.

The Moroccan delegation participating in this sporting event consists of a select group of athletes and officials who contributed to this achievement:
