Who is Al-Yazid Al-Radi, whom King Mohammed VI appointed?

Yazid Al-Radi, who was appointed by King Mohammed VI today, Tuesday, as the Secretary-General of the Higher Scientific Council, was born in 1950 in the Taroudant province.

Al-Radi has held the position of President of the Regional Scientific Council of the Souss-Massa region since 2023. He was also the former President of the Local Scientific Council in Taroudant (2004-2023).

Al-Radi received his education in the ancient schools of Souss, studying scientific texts (Al-Ajurumiyyah, Alfiyyah ibn Malik, Al-Murshid al-Mu’in, Al-Risalah, Al-Fara’id), and continued his systematic studies in authentic education.

Al-Radi has authored several scientific works, the most notable of which are “The Abundant Benefits in Assigning the Sciences of the Ummah by Abu Zayd Al-Timanarti” (verification), “Explanation of the Hidden Essence in the Three Arts by Al-Abbasi” (verification), and “The Rightly Guided Caliphate and the Hidden Hands” (in collaboration), as well as “Zakat on Employees’ Salaries and Freelancers,” in addition to “In the Realm of the Opening of the Book,” and “The Gift to the Noteworthy of the Virtue of Imam Malik and the Superiority of His School.”
